Seen you post in other threads bout you use photoshop.I could do it if I could figure out how to get the background to stay transparent.
It won't stay that way for me.
In photoshop: Open New File(Transparent), Add image as you wish, save and export as a .psd. (Make sure to save two copys and Original and a Merged Copy)
Open Gimp: ln gimp take the merged copy and save and convert to .tga.
Images now are transparent

You have to use GIMP though?
Photoshop can save tga files. -

There is a way with photoshop to.
If your badge is done,
Go to channels, (you can see channels next to layers down at the right somewhere) Make a new channel there..
Select the new channel (it's called alpha layer if i'm right) then go to layers again,
And click Ctrl on all the badge layers (don't know if u can do them all together, otherwise just click ctrl on them one by one)
When you press ctrl on them it selects the badge roundings and stuff, then click delete.
(make sure to only click ctrl and not select the whole layer, if u select whole thing u will delete the badge layer, instead of deleting it on the alpha channel)
If u've done that with all the badge layers, make the aplha channel invisible and make sure all the other channels are visible.
Then save it as Tga (in photoshop) and then bg should be transparent ingame.
Hope it sounds clear and not to hard.
It's really only one or two minutes of work to do it once you know how. -

See the thing is, I did that.
I attempted to make badges of sharingan's (yes, some people do indeed want them), but I still had the white backgrounds.
I'll figure out a way, even if I have to use GIMP.
Btw, I found this on my Photobucket account and figured you'd like it Treni.
