I think, you have all been sadly tricked into a Z8 con, whereby instead of using THE BEST COMPETITIVE GUN, you know have been mugged into believing it is for noobs.
It is not as all for noobs. Its is precise, and powerful and as a results people spray with it less. People can accomplish top frags with it and as a result it actually HEIGHTENS competitive game-play.
WHY?
Because - if you know the other team wield good weapons as well as good players it FORCES YOU TO EMPLOY STRATEGY. In ESL we HAVE to play well, we HAVE to use strats, because the competition is more competitive with the Scar L! It's GREAT!
Strategy that HEIGHTENS how CLEVER and competitive your game-play is, as well as FORCING TEAMWORK!
As with, the majority of you fools have been mugged into thinking that an AK with +8 bullets which ends up as an incredible spray fest and rushing and noobing and inacuracy is "the pro" way. How wrong can you possibly be? Think about it!
How have you let them pull the cotton wool over your eyes like this?
The final point's ill make on the scar light are:
1. If you have a SL, and someone else has a scar light - how is it more than anything but THE BEST PLAYER WINS. ITS FAIR. ITS EVEN. It's your skill, vs theirs. FAIR.
2. How can you rant on about the Scar L, yet there an M4 Custom out there which is SOUNDLESS, an XM8 out there which is +5 bullets and 100% box damage, an AK with +8 or a scope, and a ****ing 1 shot sniper rifle with 10 bullets in a clip, and a handcannon with 10 rounds! THINK ABOUT IT.
3. How is the SL NOT a fair gun, when it's GP, original to the game, no ZP required. It allows for an EVEN playing field!
4. The Scar Light is not always "The best", other guns in certain circumstances ARE BETTER. The AK is BETTER close, the XM8 is better for wallbanging, the AWM is better on tight corners, so what if the scar light is the best long range rifle? There has to be one!
Im so sick of this "Skill Light" crap. If you don't like it, why don't you get one and fight back? or employ some strats instead of being a hero and going long for the super shots?
Scar Light is one of the finest guns in CF which brings out a competative edge including:
1. Scar L (reg)
2. M4 (reg)
3. AK (reg)
4. AWM (reg)
That's what you need right there to bring out the best of CF.
And don't even go down the road of " but people can dominate in pubs with it", lets be honest - most of us can go in there can dominate with a Micro Galil, it's not hard is it?

The scar light imo is the 3rd best rifle. The 1st is k2 and 2nd m4. Why? The k2's low firing rate makes it perfect for single shooting. The m4 is just a lower powered k2 with a good fire pattern. The scar light is an overall great gun. I just dont like the fire pattern.

Anyone can look amazing with Skill Lite, thats a fact. The sad part is when these people think they are good players because of the suppose huge performance of the weapon and their own skill...
Want to have a good aim? Use Winchester, Advance Anaconda, Dragunov, FAMAS, regular Ak or Ak knife (which I consider the best gun in this game). Those weapons take time to understand . -
I think XM8 is better than the scar light. I sold my scar light and started using XM8 Advanced when I won it, because of the wall shots mainly. I feel so pro getting a wall shot with the xm8.
But ever since I won my m4 custom i've become a GM fanatic, and stopped using my XM8... -

man u need to make this shorter lol. he just asked u wat u think not to right a book, scar L is a easy to hs with gun and it pwns all over but i can still easily beat scar L users with my xm8 adv -

S-L does have a poor fire pattern. The advantage is that you can fire more bullets without much recoil. I still prefer my K2 because of its fire pattern (don't have an M4 unfortunately) and because it's accurate while moving, even jumping.The scar light imo is the 3rd best rifle. I personally like the SCAR Light but Im also a fan of the K-2 and M4.
I agree it does have an unusual spray pattern, but when I aim for the neck 2nd or 3rd shot is headshot. -

One thing I don't agree about your comment, you say that its your skill versus theirs but if they use SCAR-L (which is easy to use so you don't need skill if you don't agree with this Your blind cause it IS easy to use) and you don't then you are the one with the Skill trieng to beat them they use SCAR-L which is easy so no need for skill.. anybody (exept for the biggest noobs) can pick up the SCAR-L and butcher everybody on enemy team so but I do agree with you stating fighting against a SCAR-L takes tactic and skill thats 100% true and fighting against SCAR-L is great training .. I love on ship how I go to the sniper spot (or whatever you want to call it) and how the SCAR-L users focus on just getting kills below alowing me to snipe them (with whatever gun) so they keep deing but they keep focussing on storming the front so I can keep sniping them
Also your list fails best guns to use (no matter of noobness or anything just how good they are):
1.SCAR-L (go butcher some)
2.Kriss V Super (go butcher some at close range)
3.M4 Advanced (go butcher some silenced)
4.Thompson (go pray and spray them bast*rds) .. though Thompson takes great skill to use effectivly at Long Range! ^_^
AWM 'one shot one kill' doesn't even need mentioning Everybody knows AWM powns -

I agree I loved Winchester/Dragunov and FAMAS after a couple of matches their beast.. AK-47 is epic its good for rushers at close range but if you can master it at long range and HS with it .. then nobody can stop you I once found person with AK Scope in S&D had 34/2 (no hacks) -

hmmm, i guess thats right, but kinda questionable... in a pro vs pro situation, it really comes down to who can headshot first.. and scarl is so easy to do that...
i hate scarl though, simply cuz its boring and easy... thats why i use xm8, 100 wallbang ftw!! -
