Combat Axe should be nerfed
Why? It's a 1 hit kill on the head if you aim at it (left click), unlike the shovel. It cost LESS than SHOVEL. Also, it does the same damage (not exactly the same, but close) as shovel. And the only dangerous thing about shovel is the right-click, but on the axe, it's both.
It's also fast. It's either nerf (slower timing) it or make it cost more than Shovel.
ALSO: It's not easy to kill axers, but shovel is much easier. >___________<

I own an axe. And I feel the exact opposite as you. Shovel has 10+ foot range. It lags, it's impossible to dodge. You don't know when the shot will register... It needs to be removed.
I can't kill a shoveller for the life of me. Axers are no different than knifers in my opinion. -
Scoot back when they strike, simple, they'll miss then while the attacker is returning to it's normal position, strike 'em. Go to Arena, use axe, left-click and aim on the head. You'll be surprised it's 1 hit headshot. Shovel is NOT 1 hit headshot with left click and axe takes 1 second to strike using left-click.
I'm not arguing about the range, I agree the Shovel range is farther, but there's a way to easily dodge it.
Try playing Axe with a few pro's, you'll be p1ssed.

Hmm no... I try to jump back and I die a second and a half later...15 feet from the ghost. Shovel is overpowered, not the axe. In knife only axe is a must, you will own people with it. But in GM, where shovels and axes are most common, the shovel is unstoppable.

Funny, because I think i've played enough GM to notice that when i'm at the top of A stairs in Laboratory and the ghost is at the bottom of the stairs, he swings his shovel, I jump back and still die. Hmm... So easy. W/e guy. Argue all you want, the shovel is overpowered, not the axe. Hence the reason it's the shovel that isn't allowed in the GM tourney while the axe is still allowed.

In GM, Shovel is overpowered due to the far range
In Knife, Axe is overpowered due to the 1-hit-headshot with a left click.
And Lulz, not so hard to dodge it..........
Plus the fact that it has lag time after right click swing, which is also 1 hit KO regardless.
What if you don't get a headshot? You're restricted to that time till the next swing, and by that time the person will spin and dome you. -
