But seriously the problem of the game is not the ping, it's the damage registery.
In other FPS *cough* CS:S *cough* ping doesn't really matter, it's all server side, you are there you are shot you are dead w/e your ping/fps is.
Yeah, the majority of my time is spent in SnD now, or specialty matches; Pistols only, knife only, snipers only. GM is more like a rainy day game for me anymore. GM got to be too repetitive for me.
Next time use the sarcasm annotations
The hitbox can be a pain in the a** to, haha; A MAJOR pain in the a**. I was playing a BW match with a friend the other day and my crosshair was directly on him and it wasn't registering; Didn't highlight, or show the name. But lag plays a big part as well though...(rage rage rage)

K, time to put some intelligence in this thread.
First off all for the uk servers, u should know or at least heard something of time zones, so if u see a europe player u should go around 9 to 12 hours back on the clock and u have our time. Depends on your and the europes location.
Nearly all euros play on the uk server same is with turks etc.
Sometimes a lonly BR uncapable of the english language who is kick voted right he/she joins.
There are enough US americans, canadians,south americans wiht some frakkin bad internet connection or trying to download p0rn while playing.
So QQ babies stfu about "bad" pings still on alpha, beta, etc. servers u have ur own noobs on ur side of the world. -

It's frustrating because 6+ Months the Forums were FULL of individuals begging for an EU Server, offering out their first born child; It arrives and your still playing in the Alpha Server? Regulate the servers...or save your money and don't invest in the server. Save the expense in maintenance general server fees.
I totally agree with you. Instead of adding TWO new UK servers(waste of money), most Euro players still play in the Eastern America servers with 200+ ping. I agree Z8 should invest more money into server maintainence. Players are getting disconnected and receiving error reports while in-game. It;s pretty stupid on how they don't even fix general errors before bringing out new things that'll eventually make MORE ERRORS. -

I think you missed the whole point of this discussion in your cloud of 'know it all'. All that's being said, in a synopsis; Alpha is for people in EAST North America, there's no reason for European, S American, Asian & Australian players in it. There's servers closer to your location, quit corrupting our game play. I'm quite certain we comprehend time zones, haha...you put away your flash cards. Time has nothing to do with this topic, haha... -

It's not half the reason why users are lagging like that (It's actually a minority). Due to other various of reasons also. And I wonder why majority have such high ping.

And for all im playing uk server exclusive when i dont scrim.
Im jsut wondering why ppl like U still QQ about something what ahve been here for a year.
I have been kicked out of more than one room after i joined with my normal ping months ago.
And get it right noob, most europes arnet even playing at the same time, thats just a matter of fact, but maybe U and the others are some no lifes just defining theirself about a free game. If thats all u have i commiserate with you poor boys.
I doubt that much of u play around 3-4 am at ur time when most europes are online during the week.
So i still wonder why some potatos still qq about never seeing someone in uk server.
The other fact is there are still alot of clans with mixed eu and us/canadian gamers.
I know enough eus playing at alpha with their clan and friends cause its just one or 2 that lag and not 6 in reverse playing at uk server.
But after all my opinion is, that most of cf community are still some noobs qqing about things that wont really change.
And let me say, im sorry.

The point of this is PLAY IN YOUR RESPECTED SERVER. A discussion on players playing in the inappropriate servers. Please do learn to stage your arguments with more sense next time. NOBODY IS QQing, it's an open discussion on this particular subject. You parents should probably disconnect your internet, and invest that $$$ in a comprehensive education; Comprehension.
And for the record; The brunt of my activity is played @ 1:00 AM EST-7:00 AM EST. I deal with this every night.

I disagree with having ping caps, but the sound of players being strongly guided towards the best server sounds great. -

WarRock has a cool feature to where pings are color coded (green, yellow, red, and then white for any ping), I think something like that would be nice for CF, let the room host set the ping limit in match, and that'll solve most of the probs.
Also, it'd probably force the PL's and BR's to all play together or to play in the any limit rooms, and I got no complaint there xD
