Editing help needed.
I really don't know if this is the right section, but truthfully I can't be bothered soo...
I would like to start making some CF videos, but right now I know nothing about how to do so. If anyone would like to point me towards a couple of video guides for sony vegas, or maybe after effects that would be cool. Preferably guides that start all the way at the basics like, "this is the play button, press this to play the video." Frankly the simpler it is explained the better, I'm not a fast learner but I have plenty of time to kill. >.<

get a software that can record crossfire
i use xfire
u can get fraps etc
get sony vegas pro 9
download iit of a torrent it helps to edit the videos
im a amatuer also and thats what im doing atm.

Alright, For the After effects use this

That is the basic training for AE.
Once you're good to go with that and wanna try something more hard use the http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/
or in general there site

For sony vegas I would recommend youtube stuff but here are a few begginer guides i found

anyways charlie, If your buddy in class is still not snoring next to you, Could you please

I made a few of em ( all basically the same, just differnt colors ) I'll upload one, let me know if you like the idea.
