I'm calling Panthers. My clan isn't a GM clan and we 18-0ed a clan that made it into the tournament. So my hopes aren't pretty high for a balanced tournament.
Yea unfortunately Z8 allows every clan to compete, even ones(widowmakers) that did not have any of their members when they signed up and good ones could not get a spot in time, half of the clans just want to say theyre in the tourney so they can get steamrolled in the first round -
They surely would, haha.Since the OLD HK disbanded(they wouldve won) and my now current clan sensation did not get in(1 of the favorites) I am assuming pan[th]ers has this thing in the bag. Can anyone make an argument for someone else?

Dont worry, i did not but i have never scrimmed or played many pubs with phantoms and i usually see most members in this clan using shovel so it would be interesting to see how they would do without one. However remember the old HK lineup?

Top 10 finish for you guys most likely but that is my point the teams should at least have to have their starting 5 before signing up or have reserved spots ahead of time for proven clans -

I know it was kinda weird seeing thread asking for people to join clans that got their spot in the tourny but had no team lol it was like " wow really you got in with out a team

i would put my money on panthers from the start anyway. They are just way too good.
Even if sensation got in i think panthers would be too good ( no offence)

This is why we need a new ranking system, even that shows what the clan mostly plays via beta clan server.... check out this ranking systemNow that I think about it, maybe the Elo Rating System would be a good idea.
It'd make farming impossible and do a decent job at distinguishing the good clans from the bad, because you have to keep playing against higher ranked clans to keep moving up, but if you start losing to weaker clans, you'll be dropping down the ranks. Would be a pretty good system to use imo.
it is what ESL uses for Ladders and what not... works perfectly, and is skilled based, not EXP based (obviously) lol... eg. of ESL using it here -> http://www.esl.eu/eu#/eu/crossfire/sd/5on5/ladder/rankings/ ... now that is competitive (it would be the actual clan rank)... for individual rank, it would be done the same way but with a separate list ... farmers would not rule the ranks at all, and teams can be distinguished on who is actually the most skilled or such. -

i only wanted to say GL to all GM clans in the tourney .. and Sensation didn't register for personal reasons, maybe some other clan members explain more in other threads who knows, but anyway, if we did register to the tourney, then it would be so chaotic -
