I wanna play crossfire =(

we just got that new patch that patched stuff like floating in mid air and getting D.C anyway i was gonna play it now when it had to download a new client so i waited like 2 minutes i come back to the pc and it says failed to download version.ini and i kept trying so i went through the forums trying to find a solution turns out other people are having the same problem plz help thank you P.S sorry for talking too long....
