Xtrap Error

when ever i load crossfire, i get an xtrap update and tehn it just stops loading. it then times out. i looked in the mcafee files that are quarantined and there are some xtrap files i restored them but everytime i start cf and the xtrap updates i get them back but with a number like [2] after it. everytime the number goes up. i also hav to replace an existing file when i restore.

There is probably other files i didnt resore that have names i dont know so does anyone know them? also any thing else i can do?

Edit: i dont want to turn off or get rid of mcafee

Im having the same problem, every time I restore them they just keep on coming back. No clue, but I could use some help too =]

if your using AVG (FTW)
1. click tools then advanced settings
2. go down the list on the left and look for "Resident Shield"
3. click "Directory Excludes" then "Add Path"
4. find your cf folder and click ok
5. click apply then ok and your all done

thats so you dont have to disable AVG to play then re-enable it after playing it

This might be what awesome said but How I fixed was I went too, computer and files and then to configure and I turned everything off, once Im done playing I switch everything back on.

not a good idea to turn everything off
