Helment and Armor reveiw
Alright i have had armor and a helmet for 2 weeks and i am sad to say...
its broken, its just fails at everything BUT tanking grenades. but when it dose it makes you have no fear of grenades as you end up with 80-60 hp and 83 armor even if you stand on it.
people say it helps with knifes, axes, and shovels. it doesn't help at all at taking damage from melee weapons.
the helmet doesn't save you from headshot damage at all.
now i cant truly tell if armor works with guns because i cant tell how the armor system works.
The armor meter only goes down from grenades and rarely from guns and never from melee.
You will die most of the time with armor at 100% but the armor dose seem to take the edge off the smgs but never any other gun.
In short i say it was a waste of money and i hope they make work like the armor in css as that is the most balanced armor i have ever used in any game.

A friend and me went into a room- 'me with armor'- him without- and shot each other with same weapon to compare damage rates. I can tell you without question that it does make about a 2 to 3 hit point difference depending on the weapon and where on the body your hit. The scar light shot to the upper body did 29hp without armor 27 with it. With a smg the difference was more like 8-12hp difference, so it is much more effective against them. If an ak takes 34hp to the upper body unarmored, and 32 with amore, then 3 shots will kill you without armor vs 4 shots with it. This may not sound like much, but having to hit a guy 4 times before he hits you 3 does create a slight disadvantage t0 the unarmored player. Having said that the armor is probably not going to make a bad player pro or determine the outcome of scrims, but it is a factor. And the difference is there for each rnd- so you have to hit a guy 3 times he gotta hit you 4 so a 1 shot difference- now multiply that by 18 rnds in a scrim and he had to shoot you an extra 18 times throughout the match- anyway thats my oppinion, its not really going to be noticable in a one sided scrim, but when 2 teams are very evenly matched in a close scrim...I'd rather be the team wearing armor:)
