Screen resolution - Windows 7
For you windows 7 users.
The reason your looking at this post is because your screen resolution in in-game is 800 x 600
and you can't fix it?
Well then here is how to solve it:
Desktop (right click) > Screen Resolution.
Than you see "resolution" you click it then change it to 1440 x 900 or Lower.

No way, my system is a high end machine with a 24" (16:9) monitor.
The developers are just lazy script kiddies who haven't even implemented other keyboard configurations than the US English.
If they want to make money of this game the least they could do is make it work properly.
I mean, a system with:
Intel Q9650 @ 3.6Ghz
6GB Ram (4.4.4.12 @ 1066Mhz)
ATI Radeon 5870 GPU @ 900Mhz | 5.2Ghz GDDR5
Should not be suffering while running such an old engine!
Fix the game, don't tell your customers to turn of their computer protection (Antivirus and such) in order to be able to play, that's just horrible management and poor programming. -
I totaly agree. The devs need to fire their programmers and add real proffesionals. They must have the economy to at least do that, considering all the items they sell within the game. Running a f2p mmorp private server is easy to make quite bugfree, so why shouldn't this game be?
Wth, they are just out to make some quick money but dont really care for the future of their game. -
Haha, yea. The old CS days... i cant lower myself to play CS anymore though, i'm out for bigger challanges. I must say that CrossFire is giving me that. At least at making me find workaround for all the bugs within. Haha.
No seriously. CrossFire, as you've already stated above, Tobywan83. This game sertainly do have potential, but i'd say it still has a long way to go. At least at who and what it is running this show. If you are hosting a game like this, at a serious level. At least make sure you have competent staff!

A cut and paste game who hasn't cought up with the systems running it. Big screens with high resolutions has been on the market for a long time. Not to mention how long keyboard configurations other than the US standard has been available. (QWERTY's do exist, they're not a myth)
And asking us to turn of our Antivirus or work around them only opens our computers for unwanted attacks. Read up on stuff like Conficker which is still a very real threat. You don't even have to browse the web to get infected by it. Just leaving your computer unprotected over night will do the job if you want to reinstall your OS. -
So crippling our computers is considered fixing it?
That's not a fix, that's just another workaround. A fix would be a new patch with some real updates. I for one don't want to change my controls every damn time I start the game just to be able to jump.
Have a good look at this, it's been out since the mid 70's. Long before most of you were born.
