    Try this software:
    http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html
  • That software dosn`t work for me, I`m just thinking how can a ddr3 512 MB video card act like that?, Should it even be from ping? (130 in the morning 161 at night.)

Well....why are u using a P4?That's the bottleneck of your system, try running the game at lower resolutions, low settings.

    I have a 2.20 Ghz AMD Athlon64,1.5gb of ram and a Radeon X1600XT AGP card.It's equal to Nvidia's Geforce 7600.

    Now,my cpu @ 2.2ghz is already faster than your p4 in stock mode,2.2ghz Athlon64 = a 3.2ghz p4 and mines overclocked to 2.7,which is equal to around a 4ghz P4,my FPS in 1v1 is 231~300 & 90~150 in 8v8.
  • lawl ...

    1.6 Ghz CPU (Guess what...)
512 MB RAM (Now better , eh ?)
    Integrated Vid Card (Yeaaaa)
    nothing more ...

    7-84 FPS in GM/TDM

    Thats fkin' good ...

    Anyway , gonna upgrade to
    I7 920 with
    6GB DDR3 1800 and with
    some sexy HD card
    + 80/25 MB fast net
    and baaam .

    So ... :P

My Fps aren't high anymore since the new patch

    only ~75 in 8vs8

Try to turn off any process which u don't need. while playing clean ur pc with CCleaner or so (Advanced System Care) or smth like that.
Game Booster also doesn't work for me
  • my fps is a lot higher than yours

im a 4 months player of Crossfire and used to be Counter Strike. funny that im not concern about that fps thing i just keep on playing. i just knew that it is so much important when my clanmate ask me for my fps during when i was in a public server egypt 4 v 4. i said "i dont know..." he replied click tab then look at the lower left and youll see your fps status. so i did. i told him that my fps is playing around 580 to 673 . he said WOW!!! he ask me for a print screen so i did and sent via yahoo messenger. wow!!! again he said. a day after all of our members lookin for me :) asking how to higher their fps. i said i dont know. i told them i just always experimenting combinations with my videocard setting not knowing that i got the best result. i tried to copy my configs with them but no effect to their fps. now im still trying to know how i got this very high fps. my cpu is overclocked from 2.3 to 3.2GHz but video card is nvidia geforce 8800gtx not overclock. and you know what, i bought this for a very cheap prize coz not working at all. fan is turning on but no display. i tried to search youtube.com and found the vid they called "the oven trick" so i removed the cooling fan, shield and put it inside the oven for about 10 mins. and it work man!!!! i still dont believe that it worked lol. im just so happy thats all... thats why i share my story.. hope you find your way to higher up your fps....if you want i can give you my pc configs info. maybe they could help. -sM*[E]wan* cs_sensitivity1@yahoo.com

Dont Use CCleaner. It can acctually damage your PC. Automated systems get rid of .reg files and some of which help windows run frying your computer.
  • somethings wrong with your system buddy i suggest you check ur cpu overheating = slow

    i cleaned my fan b4 i install my gforce 9500 pci-e 16 card and its a beast...remember fan coolz the cpu ...
