Bright game trick works?

Does the 'trick' to brighten up the game help in anyway to see Ghosts and to barely get affected by Flash etc? And are there any other tricks like this?

When you turn up your "Gamma", it helps majorly to see a ghost when it moves.

Or you could just pay attention and see it when a ghost moves....

lollolol high gamma doesnt help at all...... it just makes your game brighter..... Just use a headset and listen and wait for them to move (unless they bhop then you have no chance)

It helps see moving ghosts, a lot.
