How many Rookies does it take to win Gun?
Hello,
Seeing how long CF has been out I was wondering how many rerolled to win a perma gun? I pickup guns(usually another M16) to save the life of my M16 so repairing it is really not necessary.
Really doesn't take that long to reach the required level to play BM so I thought I would try it some.
Or am I wasting my time?
Thanks,
CH

I made my first noob account like 4 months ago? And i got a AUG Camo is my first like 15 crates?.. O.o Then i made like 10 others and got nothing. You can try... but good luck. -
Actually, a very good stratagey to earn GP to you don't do BM, NEVER repair your gun! And if you bought a BM crate and got a 7-day gun, don't repair that either, the amount it costs to repair is the amount you have earned back from it!

Just ran a rookie to qualify for BM. Yielded just under 50 crates.
I now have enough guns to last me 34 days if I care to repair and so much spray I could repaint shanty town.
Took me apprx. 2 days. Will have to say it was a lot of fun.
M16 fell 10% in accuracy but still managable on the rookie server.
Did help me learn the maps better. Might do it a few more times. Lot of map area to cover and learn.

The very last thing you do as a rookie is level to Sarg. The min.req. to buy a crate.
My first account I spent real money trying to buy a perma gun. Luck(?) was not on my side.
So instead of wasting 'real' money I decided to roll a rookie and play the dice.
First rookie, see above post.
As 99% of the posters have stated here it all seems to be about the 'luck'.
I don't gamble in real life so why so I should I start here? Would be nice to set an actually price for a perma gun. As it is the BM controls this game so I will play the hand that is dealt me.
Let me win/buy a high end GP gun then I will start to spend real money on a high end ZP gun.
Until then I have very little faith in how the devo's set this system up.

It took me 5 rookies to win a GP gun or aprox. 300 crates.
Finally set up an account on wifey's pc and started farming.
Takes apprx. 2 hours to qualify a rookie using the farming method. Still a lot of work. Only thing that spared me from dying of boredom was having Hula up on second monitor.
Now to learn how to use it.
Cheers,
CH
