[CF] Report problem

Is it just me or do admins even check hacking reports sent in? I've sent in a report, followed all the rules that are required with clear evidence, and yet I do not get a receipt (not sure if they send that anymore) or a response giving me an update on the circumstances.

For CF players who sent in a report and got the hacker(s) banned, please let me know what you did, so I can do the same thing and make CF a better community to play in.

its called nothing u dont get a response and half the banned ppl dont even go on the list so u get everything u going to get when u send it in

sometimes, your report simply gets denied, since the player was simply good (and hence legit...) ... or a VIP hacker, who doesn't show, that he's an obvious hacker.

or... in the week you have sent your report, massive amounts of reports were send in. hence... they haven't finished/started checking your replay.

Hey guys,

Just to follow up here. (hopefully this post wont get erased cause the last one I accidentally did hah)

We're receiving more hack reports than we ever have now that the game is growing in population and with the advent of mutation mode.

Xtrap has done a very good job at keeping public hacks at bay. And we know that there are some obvious hackers out there that need to be banned. But realize that not all hack reporting is true. People have skill and use vent/ts/voice communication to pinpoint locations. Sound amplifying and pinpoint skills in ghost mode and various other things that create legit skilled players.

What this means is that we have to go through all the reports and weed out the false ones as best we can.

By centralizing the reporting process on [CF]Reports it means that more people here can get to more reports from you. But it comes at the cost of personalized messages for each report. There simply isn't the time to do it.

So we thank you for your patience with this. Having them go to [CF]Reports is the better and faster way for us to handle the load. But we're sorry that it means a we're a little more cold in how we handle them.

Thank you for the responses, it's nice to hear from the admins as it shows their concern. I understand that alot of players are legit and get accused for hacking (including myself), but as for as I'm know, a Scar Lite can hold 30 bullets standard, can increase maximum to +10 (or +5 not sure), reload time is definitely not under 1 second, and pinpointing is not even considered in Egypt when you're spraying at people who's trying to get out of spawn and get killed at once. I am not going to mention any names or accuse anyone of hackusation, but I'm just aware of a new so called "VIP" hack that people are starting to use and I want to stress this point across to the admins.

Once again, thank you for reponding admins as it does mean alot.

how do u report a hacker? Because i was literally playing just now, and i decided to quit and come here because this user was killing mutants, including me, in literally just a couple of shots, like maybe 1,2 or 3, honestly, when mutants have over 2000 hp and they obviously dont die in a couple of shots. So i want to report him. Also, over and over again he was getting on the roof by himself, with out a boost, and killing all the mutants, i watched it. And ive never reported anyone before, so i dont know where to start.

WOW, ive never seen a admin respond to something. but as far as hackers, the list, being banned, etc. don't expect much. like they said, sum people are good so they get reports on them that aren't true, therefore wasting time.

but as far as xtrap helping, i've seen more hackers after xtrap. hacking has taken over crossfire, i'd say at least 25 percent of the people i played tonight were hacking, and no im not accusing good people of hacking. not even the best person can kill a mutant with one shot. or slowly crawl up a wall untill no one can reach them. that, by the way, is the only creative hak/glitch i've seen.

all in all, i've lose all my faith in CF. i used to love this game untill the haks took over.

AND THE ERRORS. i never had an error untill this month. came here looking for help... mistake... i found a million other people with the same problem. no one gets an answer. so crossfire is keeping the hackers... and not helping the real players be able to play... its sad... i miss the old crossfire...

Hi! im ]P[-T in CF! i was report many hackers to u guys! but i see none got banned on list! before i report a hacker, i checked many time and make sure that is hacker! but i feel sad when i see no one on list! i wanna know why?
