Woah, something about this just isn't right.

So, I have troubles with people whispering random stuff. I go to the "Options" button and disable whispers, in high hopes that it will take care of the spammers. As soon as I was done saving the changes, something awful happened. MORE PEOPLE SPAMMED ME. Seriously, I disabled whispers but still I'm getting whispers from random people... is there any solution to this problem? ( Please don't post a stupid response).
