we has free Dread?

okay, i haven't been on mutant mode for some time, but after sparring with my clan yesterday on mutant, i discovered that we have Dread character for our mutants. Is it like a special offer that the Z8 people are giving us our is it a glitch or is it that our clan leader brought us a pack, because i definitely don't remember buying it.
