awm is still one shot too head through helmet. I have heard others say they have shot me in head and I didnt die but I cant confirm they hit me in head.
I think it does take some steam off most shots but there are still guns that should be able to one shot through the helmet. -
at long range, m4s and scar lites and perhaps the rest of the rifles won't kill you in 1 shot to the head. close up, it will not make a difference.
body armour lets you take 1-5 more shots depending on the gun and range.
awm, shovel, axe still kill u 1 hit. nade damages are halfed. and knife damages are reduced.
it can save your life countless times but it is expensive. -

I have to agree with this, I went and bought armor and a helmet for 30 days and I haven't really noticed a difference, even on grenades. Grenades will still do about 60 some damage on you if they're near you and you will still die in about 6 shots from an mp5.

Armor is only good for nulling out those glancing hits people seem to rely on (like Leg shots or arm(?)) and for being able to tank like 2-3 nades. Helmet is more for uh... I guess null those weps that barely do 100 for headshots. Its only good for 1 hit and your usually reduced to like 1-10 hp. Armor really isn't all that great but if you plan on getting it get Armor. People rarely actually aim at your head (assuming you only play pubbys) and those who aim at your head will probobly just kill you regardless.

yes that p1sses me off, especially the lag and range of it....
and helmet will help alot in GM, instead of dying from a knife to the head, you'll live to kill the ghost
In my opinion there should not be shovels, axes, breath down, steps down, helmet, etc, playing pure and simple. -
After you've played enough matches you find your muscle memory is about tweaked to how much to tap the mouse to fire spurts into the enemy. It becomes a reflex where it's not to long(spray and pray) or to short where your consistently on the loosing end of the fire fight.
I've noticed where I thought I put enough into the other person to kill him but not so much I'm spraying and praying it ends up they had armor on. I started noticing it after they killed me and they walked past me while I'm having an out of the body experience. -
I tested a little last night with 2 comps in my house ( aint I crafty lol )
with a ma4 mid range I glanced a shot on the upper portion of the helmet ( trying to create a nipping shot ). HP was rediced to 14 on all three attempts.
head on/ behind and from the side, dead on ma4 shots all where one shot kill.
I use armour and a helmet. I frequently am left at the end of the round after multiple engagements with very low HP left. 1-15. But I am alive. So for me it works in pubs.
Comes in handy.
Didnt test the vest. -
Thanks for the news mate, I didnt know that. Of course these are ways from Z8 make money but meh, I disagree.
Of course you disagree. Most CF players are cheapos like me who don't want to shell out 50 bucks for MW2 on PC when they have it on 360. We don't want to buy ZP, but to be competitive, ZP is a near must.
