Joy2Key with joystick

This is ******ed, i love this game, i played back when i had to use a mouse and keyboard, but im a console gamer so I'd rather use a controller (I have the 360 wireless reciever and a 360 controller) and I wanna use it. I have Joy2key installed and it works on LITERALLY EVERY other game made knowing to mankind, but this game. The moment I have the game as the active window, the joy2key is basically deactivated, if i click anywhere out of the game the joy2key works again. I need to know....IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THIS TO WORK PLZZZZ!
