Oh i miss closed Beta / Anyone else played the closed beta?
Well i've been playing since the closed beta.. I don't know why i miss it, the game sucked so bad compared with the 1039 version.. Well some stuff i can remember from that times:
-No friends list
-NO clans
-1 server only
-The ranks were different
-No cheating
-Only deatmatch s&d eand elimination..
ANy screenshots from that time?

Most of us thought you quit.. rofl. I left cause basically only 5 people were on trough the day, and couldn't even speak english. I also didn't know half the clan went to redemption, I joined them and stayed there for a bit. Glad your back though, maybe you can get the clan up and running againDam you Rev! Quitter! FYI This isn't an uncommon feeling (the OP) for being a part of a game.
I've been in closed betas for games and and been close to development companies in the past. The atmosphere created by a close-knit group of people is hard to find in any video game once they go public.
But that feeling can be overcome a couple of ways. One accepting the fact that any game (no matter whether its a dev studio or a publisher) is on a path to increase their users. But also, keeping in touch with those 'old school' players brings that feeling back.
I still keep in touch with some of the people on a game I was involved with testing for a number of years. Both devs and testers. And while the game eclipsed the million sold mark ages ago and never feels the same, getting together with those people brings back those memories and fun times pretty quick.
Games are about having fun, competitive or not. Sometimes that takes a closed community of friends within the larger community of public gamers.
We definitely appreciate your passion and enthusiasm, and hopefully we're still able to bring things to the table that can excite you and make you want to play. But we're also bringing those things to more and more people every day, it's exciting for us! -
I played Powerplant and Egypt 24/7
The was no Egypt or Powerplant in closed beta
Oh and thanks for the reply Saidin. I know how much the game improved and how hard you guys worked.
I still remember the day when CF went from closed to Open Beta.. There was a counter.. I couldnt sleep the night before

sry but no. why? there are hundreds of thousand nubs playing this game right now, we didn't have a challenge of "IMA BUY 100k zp haha black market and m4-c u nub" THIS GAP between gp and zp users is huge right now, u can't change it back to amazing cf from closed/beggining of open beta, even tho we had speed hakers, chammers and many ha.x I though that cf was better than this cf. -
Yeah the gp vs zp gap is quite big.
