thoughts on the G36k and is it worth getting ?

cos there's no E.M map with it on so i cant test it out -.-

yes.

if you have the GP it is worth getting, and mastering, it is probs my fav gun. because i have a tiny 15" screen, i truely suck at long range shooting, the closer the better for me. the G36 is a perfect mediator. it has very high ROF for a rifle, decent damage (better than m4, famas, and a couple others) very little recoil, and a very controlable spray pattern. also the scope does help over long ranges despite what people say.

Damn yes, Amazing gun. Despite what the person above me said, the recoil (IMO) is quite high. But Obv not as high as AK. For the rest I agree with what the fellow UK Citizen above me said xD The scope is outstanding campared to others at long range. So yeah... Buy it!

Yes, I've recently found a love for this weapon (Lavender may have noticed)

The high rate of fire is awesome, Just make sure you don't spray it too much or you will run out of bullets fast.

yeah recoil is somewhat high

but im not sure about the dmg being higher than m4, though definitely higher than famas *cough* famas sucks ass *cough*

The G36K is a great weapon. As is many of the other rifles out there for selection. As I have said before it's down to user preference. The G36 has a really high fire rate along with pretty high recoil. The damage is pretty much even with that of an M4, however you are getting the higher bullet rate. Up close, like the AK, this gun is very useful. You find yourself in close combat, you will definitely be shooting off the higher amount of bullets. In my opinion, this is one of those diamond in the rough weapons. If you can master the spray pattern and recoil, what you have in your hands is an M4 on speed. Which can be very useful :-)

tbh back in its hay day when it first came out, i swear it was more powerful back then... i cant do nothing with it these days...

did it get nerfed :S? like secretly or something?

recoil is medium, pwr is a little weak (compare it!) and ROF is just unfair in close.

i still prefer my xm8 adv tho. go for that if u want a really good gun

If you still have reservations about what gun you should use. Make your way over to Crossfire Weapons and Gear. I have a thread polling what are players favorite weapons to use. You could get some input there :-). Give your opinion as well.
