CF won't go full screen in windows 7

I have an AMD Athlon 64 dual-core processor with 4GB of RAM and a GeForce 8600GT video card with 512MB. I just upgraded to windows 7, and CF will not run in full screen mode. it is always a smaller window in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

Any ideas on how to fix this, or if it can even be done?

Yes sir. Change ingame resolution to "1024 x 678"

I've had this problem, I just make sure anything that I have open is maximized before I run CF.

it's already set that way.

it does it even if nothing else is running.

I'm also having the same problem
Just installed Windows 7 64-bit this morning
And Crossfire won't go fullscreen for the matches like before
The window is just shooting to the top-left corner of my screen

Please help guys

Ok, I've managed to get this sorted
Thought I'd post so others can fix it

On your computer find Nvidia Control Panel
Locate "Adjust desktop size and position"
For option 2 choose "Use NVIDIA Scaling"

This will sort out the issue with going fullscreen

It appears to be something to do with the latest Nvidia driver pack as stated above. If i download the latest from Nvidia it happens.

I just un-installed all nvidia drivers and let windows 7 find the correct one. I still have nvidia control panel but the version it loads doesn't cause the problem.

I have a C2D 8700P, 4GB RAM, ATI 3650 under Windows 7 64 bit.. and I have the same problem as these guys..

Sounds like a bug? Anybody else has some ideas?

Yeah well CF has some bugs on Win7... You could try running it in compatibility mode for one of the previous systems... One of my friends does that and it's fine. You just right click on CF, not the shortcut though, go to properties, compatibility, check the box that says run in compatibility mode for and choose XP or Vista. Hope that works

Problem solved.

For Win7 w Nvidia card,

Go to NVIDIA Control Panel,

Under Adjust Desktop Size and Position

Select - Use NVIDIA Scaling

Now, the game will run fullscreen!

Stay on small screen after the game has booted, and then I enter the room he is in half screen
