I opened crossfire,log in,get into svr and chs,got in a rm,played,PING 99-100,then the match finished,go into another rm,PING 200-2000+ and JUMPING LIKE HELL,im ustng wireless,4GB mem,FPS 80-100.I contacted my ISP(Imagine) xD they said is not there problem,anybody help please?? (HOPE)

People are going to say it's a problem on your part but it's not. I am normally a 30 ping person. I go into the game with 30 ping, it jumps all the way up to 250 randomly and has been happening for about 2 weeks now. It's definitely not my problem and doubt it is any problem on your end.

A Few Reasons-

Since you're using wireless, is their anything else using that internet?

Maybe it's unreliable.

Or it could be lack of restarting your computer, you should try that.

Got the same problem

But is not spike :S

Ping before xTrap: 125-145 (West Coast) - 180-210 (Canadian Servers)
Ping after xTrap: 145-155 (West Coast) - 169-230 (Canadian Servers)
Actually ping, 5 days now: 175-190 (West Coast) - 162-220 (Canadian Servers)

Now, u can see, what is the problem? why is only in West Coast that my ping went higher?

I live in Japan, and my ping in Japanese CF is not affected, whats the bad?

ISP? Not is my PC!?

i got the same problem lol .. im from UK :P ...
my normally ping is 100 lol now its 166- 170 for normal server.. in west coast my ping is 200+ haha but before its 150 lol

Dude if you want to learn how to lower ping first of all it can be a graughics card.,second it can be your special graughics in your game so turn off weather effect and bullet trail and blood unless you play ghost mode! have a nice day guys..........

Lol. This is the exact opposite of what the problem is. Graphics card will only affect game FPS. Ping is related to internet and has absolutely NOTHING to do with graphics card.

I suggest you don't tell people what to do if you don't know anything yourself.
