Oh snap we have the winnnaa, sadly I do believe this means this thread gets closed Snp gets an infraction, I probably get an infraction or infractions. But oh well its all in good fun right? -
While I can understand how annoying it must be. I must question why He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is essentially being protected while in the past when well known players where banned the threads were closed not because of who they were but because of flaming. Is there a reason for this change in policy from one that appeared to close threads in a more reasonable manner rather then simply because it had He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named in it?
For an example the original He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named alt's got banned thread was closed due to trolling and it being way off topic. After that the policy seemed to shift from one that was logical to one that simply focused on He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
Also a side note, as far as "being friendly" goes having everyone pick on one person is about as friendly as it will get around here. Another random musing of mine, that PM was it from xFamousx or what ever that baddies name is? -

The third was just someone trying to **** off the mods. At this point, anyone bringing up the subject is doing it just to **** off the mods and be trolls.
Consider them closed due to spam. He's not being "protected" in any way. -

I do agree with your statement in general, however making a "official" post does seem rather silly does it not? I was simply pointing out that the manner in which it was dealt with does little to help the situation. Although I do disagree, some people just really hate him which depending on what clans you played in is quite easy. -

I close threads as i see em. I usually let people get their stuff out for an hour or so, close the thread, and ask them not to post about it. I do the same for everyone. I don't know treni personally, so i have 0 reason to protect or care for him. However, trolling a user is still trolling a user, no matter what the circumstances. -

As stated. One thread was closed because of it mentioning the player who was banned. That was closed. You continued to open threads on the same thread that was closed which is in violation of the forum rules. Therefore it results in them being closed.
And side note: Im not protecting Treni nor do i know him nor do i even care about him. Just a simple FYI for you all who think thats why we are closing threads.

Considering how much easier it is to just blanket warn everyone instead of having to do it for each idiot trying to be a troll, no it doesn't seem silly. People don't deserve a warning for something they watched 3 other people get warned for. -
