Dude its about the same as ADV. If its a gun you want, go for it. But note: If your not good with the ADV you wont be with the Custom, But over time you till be able to use it like a "pro"

M4-c Has a slight accuracy increase over the m4-adv. However the m4-adv +5 clip makes it much more superior for CQC & mid-range

M4-c for CQC/mid/Long

I love M4C. Played with it a few times.I do pretty good with it when I pick it up. It's the only gun I really want on this game. Trying hard to get it.
I've tried M4-Adv a few times too. And I suck with it

So what gun is the M4 with a camouflage skin, silencer and +5 extra bullets?
Oh right, it's an M4-Adv. Now, I wonder what the Adv could stand for...

M4-Cus is a very very bad spraying gun, but it is also one of the best guns in the game. ^^ (I know because I have had every single gun except the Kriss)

The trick is to only try to get headshots w/ it, otherwise the bullets will spray way to slow to get any kills... With the headshots method, you can easily get multi-kills (very fast swing w/ it), at mid-long range, burst 1-2 shots only.
