trying to get this one. Is it good ,how much fps approx would i get.Also it would help if you nice people would suggest Ex: a link to a good computer from best buy. So ya show me ur suggestions the computer has to be from best buy or future shop.

And also for best buy computers can i like pay a portion of the price every month?

best buy has 1 just as gd , but 300 dollers cheaper. Look on there web site , and look at the desk tops. Im buying it , its a compaq i think thats how u spell it.

EDIT: You will not find such a graphic card at less than 1200€. It is a powerfull machine with I5 (3.2ghz, the best I5), geoforce graphic card 1.5gig, 6gig DDR3 and even 1TO harddrive

That computer would play pretty much and game fine unless your running Crysis maxed out or some of the newer DX11 titles. Expect around 150-200 FPS in a 8v8 on Crossfire though.

I'd say around the same, maybe a bit less. I cant say for sure but you won't ever lag in Crossfire again unless your ping is high or they convert the engine to DX11 lol.

Oo Why would I get less than him my computer is hell better he has a crappy i3 and me the best i5, my graphic card is 1.5gig and I have 2gig more ram

My ping is 160 xD

Your GPU is the equivalent of a 9600 GT, he has a 9800 GT, and anything more than a dual core processor won't get you much more frames unless your recording gameplay. As I said neither of you will ever lag in Crossfire again.

But in what is 9800 better than GeForce GT230 1536 Mo dedicated and up to 4351 Mo?

If I were you I'd go with that, the only thing you might ever need upgrading is the GPU and that's only if your going to play a very graphically intense game. That Core i7 830 will last you for a few years.

Sorry for the double posts. More memory doesn't mean that it's better. It may perform the same as a 9800 GT at high res but that's about it. The GT230 is a re-branded 9600GT. That computer looks like a good deal though so I say go for it.

yea i personally i think intel is better then amd. the i7 is going to last you way longer if its gonna go. amd are cheaper but dont last as long same with ati and nVidia

Yea, I don't really have a preference though, whatever plays my games at 60 frames :P

an i5 will still run cf just fine. and it will record with prolly a lil difference but not really anything noticeable.
a quad core or a dual core dosnt really matter. quad allows for more multi taking and Photoshop. and a dual is more single task running but are still just fine

OK let's put it this way. Any processor with Core i3, i5, or i7 won't lag in Crossfire. Any GPU made by Nvidia or ATI in the last 2 years won't lag in Crossfire.

Hell yeah! I know it will not lag I play on an eeepc 900 netbook (with a razer lycosa keybord, razer orochi mouse and a razer goliathus control mousemat, think cost me more than the pc^^) it only gives me 7-20 fps.

So you worried me about the geoforce gt230 so I did some search and I found out that it was the 9600gt that had been renamed but since december 2009 it is a new graphic card that is 1.5gig as said^^.

before december people where liing about it saying it was 1.5gig when it was only 512mb.

I'm running an i5 with a 7600GT card, when I first formatted my HD I was clocking 300+ fps. After a few months of use I am now seeing 150-250. It's all about your processor. Although you only need to be above your monitor's refresh rate at all times for optimal frame rate.

Crossfire mainly depends on your CPU clock speed and its processing power.

An i3 and 2.9ghz coupled with 9800GT, you can expect around 100-150 FPS in an 8v8.

Because it si an Nvidia, you can expect to see upto 500 FPS in a 1v1.

Also, try to get a good monitor too, even if you get a 5000 FPS Computer,

if you monitor isnt refreshing itself more than 60 times a second, if will only see 60 Frames Per Second.

Try to get a 75Hz or something monitor with a low response time and good ratio, then only you can use that computer to its maximum.
