Posted on the Crossfire homepage:

We are pleased to announce that in the “MMOsite Reader's Choice Awards 2009”, Cross Fire has got total of 630,039 votes and won First Place in the Best F2P MMO, Best MMOFPS, and Best Gameplay awards categories!
We will celebrate this with a +20% EXP weekend, starting Friday, February 26th at 10:00 AM EST and running through to Monday, March 1st at 10:00 AM EST!!!
Congratulations to all of our community members and we sincerely appreciate all of you who have participated in this event!

Discuss... this was pretty much what I predicted. No crates.

20% exp bonus is nice but it just doesn't feel right, if you look at the scores 150-200k votes advance, and 3days exp bonus? Yes, I'm grateful for that bonus, 20% can be pretty awesome, but...unless you cara bout your rank, you won't be able to use this event too much. It's more the low-lvl alts/newbies who profit from it.
Bonus is nice, but for myself, it will just save a little bit of time for my alt, would've preferred ZP crates too, but I guess, it can't be helped

since i'm past the rank for RPK, the only thing I'm aiming for is Butter Bar. since i won't get that anytime soon, this is useless! only good for clan points pft

I don't get it, why are there so many people who think that they deserve crates for doing sht all? The only reason we won by such a large margin was because of the people (myself included) who thought why not click on a couple of links a day and win 500GP, so seeing as we've already been bribed to ensure crossfire wins I highly doubt we deserve a 'decent' reward anyway.

In short: If you voted you already got your reward, if you didn't you dont deserve one.
