If u can control the recoil you can buy an AK-47 , and XM8 is a good weapon too.

AK-47, Aug, M4. These guns are beast. Don't make the mistake of buying an SL. This gun is a cheap piece of sht, I bought it thinking all the pros use it. >.>

Well kind of depends on you play style. If your a head hunter the K2 all the way. If your a body shooter...AK-47 FTW, you have a good chance on the 3 or 4th round to hit them in the face. If your a "in your face" shooter go with the K1A. And if your a rusher, try out the MP5. Go into a match and steal others weapons and find out what you like, if you live long enough.

The SL is still a good gun, if you dont like it thats cool. But people shouldnt limit there abilites with one gun...you dont have infinite ammo...unless you type in up down left right a b start...lol.
