"Error in InitRenderer(). Shutting down."

Hey guys,

I Have a problem starting the game..
Everytime i want to start the game and it starts up i get the message:
"Error in InitRenderer(). Shutting down." Then i have to press OK and the game shut's down.
I allready have reinstalled the game but still have the same problem..
Anybody knows what to do?

    We'll be adding a common response to this soon.

    But initrenderer errors are 99.9% related to your video card. Make sure to install the latest drivers and make sure that your DirectX is up to date.

    I'm sure i have the latesed driver update for mu NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS TurboCache
    And i just saw on the forum somebody else has the same problem at the moment.

    btw i have the problem since i did the last CF update..
    I havn't install any other program/driver/printer or anything

    "you're sure" is not always accurate enough.

    Video cards are finicky pieces of technology. Often requiring people to uninstall drivers, update new drivers etc.

    Video Card drivers are updated quite frequently.

    I also say upgrade your drivers, or reinstall them because at the end of the day, this solves 99.9% of the problems relating to this. Try those things that are related to the renderer (which is the video card and graphics memory). Before deciding if you might be the 0.01% of the population that has fully updated drivers and this problem.

    I have the same problem as of 1/31/2010. I've been playing for months.

    I don't even have a graphics card, I have onboard graphics.

    I seeing if there are any drivers I can download now...

    Works like a charm after updating drivers.

    Do the following and it should work fine;

    Right click on desktop > Click Properties > Click Settings > Click Advanced > Click Troubleshoot and slide the slider all the way to 'full'
