Yes, it is worth it. I still say that the PSG-1 Red Dragon has a faster firing rate than the MSG90, the scope doesn't put me off like the one on the MSG90 does, its not as annoyingly loud as the MSG90, and it has more bullets than the MSG90.

In short: It is in so many ways better than the MSG90, that I can't even believe you are considering NOT to get the PSG-1 Red Dragon because you already own this far inferior sniper rifle.

I have the PSG RD... it's rotting in my inventory.
I haven't used it since the day I exchanged it which was many months ago.

PSG1-RD is TOTALLY different from MSG. Even in recoil. MSG goes up, PSG stays in one place. It's DEFINETLY worth it to have both. If you need to decide wether you get it or not, whisper DeathEffect in game, I'll let you use mine.

If u right click to go into and out of scope, is faster than the MSG.

w00t? since when is the psg-red better then standard psg (except for mag size)?
bcause when i compare standard psg with msg90 the psg loses
only thing psg is better in is the dmg because u can 1hit sometimes from far enough distance (if you get closer your chances for a 1hit shoot with psg sink)
and really which **** says that the recoil of msg90 is too high -.-? man the sense of this weapon is its high fire rate combined with its low recoil you can shoot 2times in about 1,5sec marking exactly the same spot twice which gives you a real advantage on fast played maps.

to sum it up: i wouldn't recommend u to get the psg since you have the msg. keep your coupons til you get the p1mp weapons if youre after special looks or get yourself a deagle camo or an perm axe

I remember testing this with Sigma though....
MSG-90 had a faster firing rate...
I dont snipe a lot as well. I only snipe once or twice in a game and almost always, like 90% of the time, I kill the target with 2 shots. I really never had to use a full clip to kill a guy...

I dont really care for ammo. I have my trusty Anaconda-Adv in case I do :P

MSG does 98 at mid and 100 at close. PSG-Red does like a max of 80 on the body, and again, the firing rate of the MSG-90 is faster. The psg might stay in 1 spot, but thats because its not as fast or strong as the msg.

i got the psg rd today. it is better than msg imo. i have two msg's (that i got in 5 crates) and they rot in my inventory, psg rd is now in one of my two sniper bags.
