How do i get smooth disappear of elemens in vegas?


I want to get this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7dgWmRMVko effect of the intro, the text is smoothly disappearing and appearing, how do i do that in sony vegas pro 9?

Just make sure you're on the layer with your text if you only want to fade text, this can also be used to fade in your clips from black or fade in your music.

(You can also use this to fade out all your stuff)
