Shovel & axe...nooby or not

shovel is op imo
axe is only better then knife in most situations but sometimes its better to use a knife
if hit reg was perfect i would nvr use an axe but knife to head usually does 90 in a full rm to a br and 100 in 5v5 or less

well, i used all 3... shovel definately is longer ranged...

but, its noobed based on how you use it... i know that cf has shovel lagged...

the axe is basicly the same... if you have a knife, you need to stay out of the slash hs zone and out of the r/click zone... axe is noobie depending on how you use it...

also knife... its more agile and lighter... with it, you can move around the blows, (if you know how) [knowing how to stay just out the shovels initial r/click] and coming in for a hs stab. if you get close enough to a shovel, you can *Quote* noob kill* the shoveler by left clicking...

In normal games I honestly don't care what melee you use... if at an even playing field you get point blank and have time to wind up a power hit, either you deserve to get the kill or I deserve to die. But in GM, well... they're a moderate handicap. Using a shovel or axe all the time is overdoing it, but if the other team has a pinpointing master and your entire team sucks, or just everyone on GR is using shotguns and armor, you might need an edge against them to make it a fair fight. Don't pretend like your team never needs carrying. But in straight up knife fights, ZP weapons are noobish... No way to deny that. It's like using an M12 VS and MP7... you're not guaranteed to win, but you're at a hell of an advantage. If you wanna have M12 fights with your friends then good for you, but stay the hell out of my pubs. D=

knife can beat a shovel and axe easily, if ure good with it

i dont use shivel or axe, the only time i have is when i got it from dog tags, and i use it cuz shovel makes a cool sound when u quick switch

The knife more agile? Despite what the info says in the item shop, the axe is quicker for the first left click and all of the melee wepeons wiegh the same (You go the same speed). Ive used all of them and axe is deff my favourite cause its quick. The left click of axe is the same as right click with the knife but way faster.

Well I don't find the shovel OP at all, it's just the lag that comes from when you get hit; it seems like they missed, but a second later you're dead

The axe on the other hand has no lag when you get hit by it and I like the look of it But when people slash you with it to the head (it's pretty easy) it gets a bit annoying as well. (I do it too though xD).

That's just what I think...Pizza Hut all the way

Only thing wrong with the shovel I see is it's long animation delay and long range in appearance. However, in the user point of view, it is still standard distance. If only they fixed that, knife matches and ghost mode would be much more balanced.

Yeah, knife can beat them but not 'easily'. Axe/shovel have longer range, a knife doesn't. With a knife you have to try harder to get to the opponents face.

The Axe is not noobish. I know that it is easy to kill someone. It's not a noob weapon, it only goes to people who knows how to use it..

this is true, with the fact that it has a HUGE range. however, it is still considered a noob weapon of its steroids power and its really easy to aim with becasue it attacks from the side of 180 degrees. if the victim ( lol :P ) is by your side, you can just swing it and youll still get a kill anywhere.

Shovel is good in GM. In melee it's only a noob's weapon because people don't know how to avoid it. Anyone with knowledge of the shovel's lag shouldn't have problems fighting against it with any melee weapon. Very few people are capable of using the shovel's full length to their advantage. There are far more dangerous weapons to be fighting against.

Axe is probably the best if not the second best weapon in the game. The one-shot HS slash pretty much dominates every other melee weapon. The only thing that stops it from being a noob's weapon is that most people can't slash properly.

I think Shovel is noobie... cuz it takes 1 hot anywhere to kill u and its wide ranged and laggy...
Axe I find is ...harder and more skillfull and not as far ranged or over powered.
I Find U a REAL noob if u have bd+Shovel.... even my little sister can go around owning ppl
