I don't think Z8 should enforce a North American only server, because anyone should be allowed to play on whatever server they want. But they should definitely have at least one server for the most popular playing areas. North America, South America, and Europe would probably be my first choices.
What Z8 should do is label the servers for what country they are in, for example, All the Alpha, Bravo, servers etc. could be named North America 1, North America 2, etc., and the UK server 1, UK server 2, etc. could be named Europe 1, Europe 2, and so on. Just like they should call a South American server South America 1.
In other games you get auto kicked from the match if you are above a certain ping, like 150 for example. Enforcing a minimum ping would make gameplay alot more enjoyable as far as people not teleporting across the map, but it may push away some of the players.
I live in Florida, US and play on the UK server sometimes, which is halfway around the world, and my ping still stays in the 120 range. Some people are just blessed with faster computers and faster internet than others, but being on the server closest to you will always give you the lowest ping.
I Disagree, not trying to flame, but I'm not asking for restrictions for all the servers just 1. They can make a south american server as they are not licensed to market the game there, just in North America and the UK. They cant name the UK server Europe due to the License.
As far as the computer, I am blessed with a very nice computer. Along with the largest majority of our community I just would like to be able to play without people with high pings as I am sick of getting Lag shot along with many more reasons. On the other North American servers keep them open for everyone. We just need the ability to play with people with local pings sense we Are their Target Market. I would also suggest adding restrictions to 1 of the uk servers to help those guys with Euro's loading them down.

0ldGregg agrees with this thread 110%. Us North Americans should have atleast 2 servers of our own since the BR's and Euro's are slowing us down with their lag. They are also annoying me with the ingame chat system with all of their fancy foreign words or whatever they are. The UK already has 2 so why can't we? I thought this game was North American based? lol

Wow, amazes me how some people are so "smart"....
North America = Canada,USA, and Mex.
Central America= Honduras, Panama, etc. It's the narrow strip of land between North and South America... duh???
South America= Brasil, peru, etc. -
I know that the servers are based here, but What I am suggesting is a server with IP restrictions excluding BR's and Euro's. I pay alot of money out to this game just to have my experience ruined by BR's with a 200+ ping. Sense z8 has refused a BR server, as they are not licensed to market the game in south america, I would LOVE to see this happen. People in the UK now are able to enjoy playing with people with an average ping due to their servers that BR's wouldnt even be able to attempt to play on. Why shouldn't people in North America, the biggest money market for the company, be able to enjoy the same experience. I know this Idea will more than likely be shot down, or something said along the lines that this idea is liked, but then just nothing get done about it.
The effort should be made to satisfy your North American Players and give them the ability to play with players with local pings...

This idea is great, What could possibly go wrong besides BRs yelling out merda or filho de **** up our rears? (merda = a swear, FDP = S.O.B)
I've had enough of their violent weapon-stealing repetitive behavior. It's time to ban those suckers onto a different FPS, or at least make a server for them, because Plenty of us had it with them. -
If brazilian people could at least speak english it wouldnt be thaaat bad. I'm a brazilian and I can tell you: playing with high ping is much worse than playing AGAINST someone with high ping. I don't know why you guys cry so much about high pings, you should try playing like we play lol. But I agree BRs are the worst thing in this game, as I have never met any nation mate who could speak english or show any respect to me, even when they knew I was br too :P

Boy for complaining is going to get a good video card in your computer and a good net and learn to play too you know you Americans are very noobs besides not knowing how to shoot is the internet speed of a turtle kbs pareçe connection so its not ping its never gonna be normal donkey -
