Remove the Gatling Gun
Crossfire is not a Sci-Fi shooter it is based on modern game play.
I don't believe a Gatling gun can be wielded by a single human being.
The Gatling gun is fine in M.M cuz M.M is non realistic but I don't like to see it in other modes like s&d or t/d.
"Take note of this. Crossfire is a modern, fast paced shooter. Its gameplay stye does not lend itself to heavy explosive weapons, and they will not be added. Crossfire is also not a sci-fi shooter. We will not see plasma guns or lasers in the game. So, please consider this before you post. Thanks."

It's not like you should have trouble taking out someone with gatling.
Not really I think it just makes the game look stupid as opposed to be a modern fps.
I see ppl QQing about m12's but I have no problem taking someone out that uses them. -

I've got to agree with you on the first part.
Would have been better if they added the minimi instead of the GG. -
No human being can handle a Gatling gun by themselves with no support, they are too big/heavy for a normal person. They are always mounted on something, I.e. Humvee, Helicopters.
It's unrealistic to have a person running around carrying the stupid thing let alone firing it in combat.
No, its not an explosive weapon but, its still unrealistic and if it has to be in the game it should only be in Mutation Mode. -

Theres the Gatling gun that could be mounted on Helicopter or Vehicle.
And theres the Gatling MINIGUN that is smaller and can be carried by one person.
Oh yeah you're right about one thing. Normal people can't carry it, isn't that why we have military trained characters >;D -
Anyway, all this to say, it is already in the game. People have burned tons of money to get it. It is going to stay in game unless there was some universal outcry but 101% of the CF community to remove it. And since only .00001% of the community is crying about it now, it ain't gonna happen.

and yes its perfectly reasonable to hold a Gatling Gun
As shown by the TF2 mascot, the Red Heavy
*btw, like in TF2, can you spin up the minigun and walk around with it, or its spin up, and fire?
Also, can you spin up by jumping around corners? -
The only thing wich is ****ing me off in this is the fact that developpers are hypocrite. They actually say that no high damage guns will be implemented, but what is a gatlin on their opinion? That machinegun is designed to be mounted on aircraft. And after that they refuse giving us a Barrett... If this keeps up like that, I'm soon gonne request myself a plasmagun and a BFG9000. And a chainsaw.

i tried that huge mother fker in mutation mode. if u shot u will die, even in mutation mode. it is only good for 1 scenario, where the match just start in mutation mode and ur camping with the other players and the mutants r coming after u and even there just use an rpk cuz it doesnt delay when u start firing. really no advantage to the gatling over the other mg's

"In the year 1987 the movie "Predator" (starring A. Schwarznegger) hit the screens. One of the most impressive scenes was the one where the US Commandos, led by "Dutch" (Schwarznegger), attempted to fight back the alien Predator. One of Commandos was armed with the distinctive weapon, a 6-barreled rotary Minigun, fed from backpack ammo box. This gave the impression that the Miniguns can be used for infantry support. It must be noted, that in this movie a special, blank firing version of the Minigun was sued. The electric motor was powered via cable, hidden in the actor's pants, and the actor had to carry bulletproof vest and protective mask to avoid injuries from the fast and violently ejecting empty cases. Had this gun being fired using real ammunition, the actor would ended lying on his back, being forced off the legs by the violent recoil. The "backpack" ammo capacity, also, could be worth only several seconds of fire. lets calculate: 2 000 rounds of 5.56mm ammo will weight about 25 kg (55 lbs); 2 000 rounds of 7.62mm will weight about 2 times more, making such load almost impossible to carry on foots. yet this load of ammo will worth only 20 or so seconds of fire. Add some powerful batteries to power electrical drive of about 4KWt (4+ horse-power), and the bulk of the gun itself, and you'll see that even the strongest man won't be able to carry this load, less to fire it with any chance to hit, due to extremely powerful recoil."
Just saying.
