patcher v5 failed to download patch

for some reason the crossfire patcher v5 gives me an error that says "failed to download patch file".
is there any way to fix this? please help! i really want to play crossfire =\

i'd like to replay too coz crossfire gets crc error on end of patcher v5.

For everyone having this issue just uninstall & re-install CrossFire.
This should solve your problem.
I had the same problem when I reformatted my PC a while ago.

Uninstall Crossfire.
Download a freash CF copy.
Play the game.

hay guys i just tired 4 times & it worked but now i have another issue it says : Failed to connect to server : W[2003] L[0]. now WTF is that fix with me that f.u.c.k.ing problem plsssss. oh my god im gonna die.

OMFG another noob qqing about the patch.

they ARE still working on it. just wait till the patch is up and than download it.

i have like this problem. when i press "START GAME" show me "Failed to download patcher v4" and " Failed to download version.ini." Please give me a solution. I reinstall but the same again, i check for virus or cookied but the same again. Please help me.

On the CrossFire icon on the desktop (or on start menu), right click it, and select Run As Administrator.

just try it .. and it will works guys

Hi guys, I have fix the problem!Go to the game folder,right click on CF_G4box and select properties.On tab compatibility select run as windows xp service pack 2 and click ok.Repeat this procedure with the files "patcher_cf" and "selfupdate_cf",then run CF_G4box as admimistrator.For me it works,good luck!

in the game file there is patcher_cf open and life it to download the file to the internet
an the game will open good luck

i tried to uninstall and reinstall but it always stops at 9.26 MB someone help!!!

ive uninstalled and re installed ecleast 20 times...ran it and tried to start it like hundreds...defragged and everything did wat many ppl said to go to properties on a few things...nothing is working...wat r some other ways to fix these problems =[...someone plz help?
