As of recently there haven't really been any pre-orders or direct VVIP sales such as Melody & Miranda and instead we've been having our VVIP sets and characters pushed into Lapis/Garnet.

A lot of FOMO is being created by this. VVIP characters and sets being placed in Lapis or Garnet means you either get it during the time it's available or you miss out completely and are left waiting for an unknown amount of time for it to re-release. I've constantly seen people on the Discord asking whenever X character or VVIP set will release again, and that just shouldn't need to be the case.

Pre-orders don't have this issue. You have the ability to pick up whatever you want during the pre-order window, whether that's melees pistols rifles grenade sets and so on. After the pre-order, the set simply sits in game for people to buy whenever they wish and once Black Friday rolls around they can do the same and pick up exactly what they want from the set.

Another issue with VVIP sets in Garnet and Lapis is that players end up spending a lot of money gambling and hoping to get what they want. If they don't they're left waiting for the exchange market to trade 3 items into 1 and then the cycle just repeats itself.

Black Friday VVIP crates are a another example of this. You might open crates and end up with 4 rifles when all you wanted was pistols or grenade sets. You wait for exchange market trade your way to maybe 1 pistol or a singular grenade... and then have to repeat the whole thing next year. That loop is horrible and feels really bad to any player really and super predatory. I'm personally stuck in this exact cycle trying to complete 3 Glorious Grenade sets and it feels horrible and really depressing

A good example of what I mean is JTF-Expert being put into Lapis. That is a regular VVIP character and having it sit in a Lapis rotation means players have no idea when they'll get another chance at it. That just doesn't feel right for that type of content.

Personally what I'd like and PREFER.

Bring pre-orders back for VVIP characters and sets and let players buy what they want directly. For Lapis, Garnet and even Citrine fill those slots with things like Reality sounds and weapon skins instead similar to how China handles it. That way the rotation systems still have something worthwhile to offer without locking VVIP characters and sets behind unknown timelines and stupid gambling.



Images attached is all of the VVIP Characthers, VVIP sets, Weapons that have not been released yet for West. And you are telling me we will keep releasing Characthers, Weapons and VVIP sets in garnet/lapis? ? This alone alone would be multiple preorders ex 2 Chars + 1 weapon or Set + 2 chars or even just stand alone sales just like we did with Melody & Miranda.

Just to be clear im still fine with infinity and such being in lapis but regular vip sets should not belong in lapis or garnet for that matter.

I can also mention CFBR has EVERY VVIP set released obtainable through item shop aside from glorious.

People downvoting have obviously not read nor want to give any feedback behind their thoughts.
