Compensation For Games Against Convicted Cheaters & Punishment For «Proxy Cheating»

Over the last few months, ranked S&D games have been infested with cheaters. Almost half of the games I've played this season had one (or more) cheaters in the room, and that is not an exaggeration. I understand that the process of going through hundreds (if not thousands) of reports per day can be tedious, so I would like to suggest a couple of countermeasures, one to help players whose progress is ruined by being matched against said cheaters (and even encourage more players to report cheaters), and one to discourage what I like to call «proxy cheating». So here are my suggestions:

1. Points lost to a convicted cheater should be reinstated to the player(s) who reported the cheater.

This is pretty self explanatory. If a player loses a game to a cheater, reports them, and the cheater is convicted, the points the reporting player lost in that game should be reinstated. This is a very reasonable and easy way to compensate the fair players, as GMs can easily identify the reporting player through the ticket and reinstate the points.

2. Players who knowingly queue up with blatant cheaters should also be punished.

This is something I've noticed quite frequently. Usually, a cheating player will always show up in the same team with another player. This is what I call «proxy cheating», and it's when a player who doesn't want their account to get banned will get a cheater to queue up with them in a throwaway account so that they can win games without risking getting reported for cheating. In my opinion, this is completely against the spirit of fair play, and players who play multiple (for example, 3+) games with the same cheater should also be given a ban and stripped of their ranked progress. These cases might be a little harder to pinpoint, but given the amount of players I've seen using cheaters to boost themselves in ranked, maybe knowing they could get banned might deter them from doing it so shamelessly.
