There have been several events, you just get them through the Mercenary -Pass, so you have to sacrifice some GP to do it. But you will at-least get one weapon for sure, if you fill up your merc-pass. + They have the regular weekend bonus-time with free crates - the EP (Probably to stop people from EP farming).

They will probably run all events in the future through the merc-pass, to make it easier for them to handle. I prefer the old way.

im do 3 mercenary 120 crate no win, im need EP upgrade spin crate that I want every weekend, all crate expensive now and junk hard..thank you for support

Thing is they didn't have to be this stingy about giving more EP, just give it with completion of events, simple example would be putting more EP on those Merc Pass slots. Just give our monthly 180k (225k in case there happens to be 5 weekends) without farming but actually by playing. It is that simple.

I would also have the chance to get more EP (without paying for it). They probably thought that 180K was too much to give out, when there were so many players achieving it. Remember, they are a business, businesses exist to make as much money as possible. The more crates they give away for free, the less reason for people to buy crates with real money. They want to give away just enough of free stuff, to keep the larger part of the player-base happy, still playing and crate weapons to remain so exclusive as they can be, so people will buy the crates to get them.

I know. I think they were managing it just fine. I mean not every create was made available to everyone. And for good crates there are long rotation times and limited amount of options. They also can make base weapons available to everyone I think. There are many weapons in this game many haven't been touched yet. Put these weapons on EP store, going with Merc Pass logic maybe one stock weapon of your choice each month? No need to stress over which type of setting they need to do next series of events (past year 10th anniversary event (shame I missed the EDP by 5 days ), this year same event reorganized like Destiny's Season Pass, Merc Pass with a premium twist, etc)
