ok i am reaaaly tired of this dam fps lagg. u guys had a sticky saying collecting information from everyone, u collected over 500 replys so my question is.. why the hack haven't u guys fixed it yet, its driving alot of people crazy espcialy me. i get 20-5 fps. i can't even aim at someone i need a mod to reply back and answer my Q please. ty and btw me and many ppl think, X-trap is the problem ever since the xtrap replaced gameguard fps started droping. correct me if im wrong.

i disagree with you i think xtrap has helped way more it has helped with how many hackers there use to be in this game

its good and back helped MURDER hackers and its MURDERD MY FPS had over 140 avrage and now i have like 30? what the heck? tryed defragging and other stuff still failing =[

the problem is your in game settings, spammer noobs in game, your graphics card and your cards drivers and smoke nades at certain points


xtrap is just like a front door to a club you go to enter the server and all xtrap does it check you for hacking programs etc etc, that should not be in game

You have right ... Check your setting or buy better graphic card

X-trap is a pretty good Anti-Hack program, but it takes up more memory, and FPS lags the game for the people with crappy computers.

i know people with the best gaming comps with shetty fps trust me, i use to get great fps after gameguard was gone, my fps dropped badly. im not saying xtrap is bad im saying see if u can fix wats messing w/ the fps. xtrap is great for blocking nooblets out of the game

Actually, xtrap changed my fps, yes.
Its not much tho, 120 fp to 90 fps.

Thats 30 FPS. Big difference to me since that's like half my FPS.

I agree with you this is a low quality game with a lot of fps issues...Why?I get better fps in AVA,MMOs, but they got better graphics... Its kind of wierd.

I play Halo 2 with 120 FPS. It's a much more graphic intensive game. Hmmm...

I have this problem too and it annoys me, I can't even play the game anymore. I normally get 30-40 fps, but lately I can't even keep it above 15 with GameBooster and the lowest graphics settings, I even defragmented my computer and scanned for viruses, nothing helps.

FPS is your FRAMES PER SECOND. In case you didn't know.

That is based on YOUR computer specifications. Their servers have NOTHING to do with your sub par computer.

Then explain to me KillGod, why I have 50-60 FPS on all my other games like SW Battlefront, Quake Live, Counter-Strike, and TF2? It's a problem with CF, not my computer, because CF is the only game that gives me the FPS lag.

ok im gonna say this again since some people don't read correctly.. Everyone's fps was fine untill the switch from gameguard to xtrap then the fps dropped for me atleast it did. i believe it's nothing with the computer. this game has like the crapyest graphics if u have the worst computer u can still play it. we're talking about the fps it was fine until they obviously did some update that messed it up. and also i don't think everyone that's supporting me in this thread has a crappy computer so think before you write.

I think the problem with fps lag is the shadows... I use to have 80-90 ping now its 20-40 fps... there needs to be a new "Options" menu ._.

I used to have a constant 70-120 fps a while back. Don't know exactly when things started dropping but now I'm hoverign around 20-40 depending on how many people are in the room. Its still pretty smooth (oddly) but when it reaches the 5-10 range its pretty bad. Dunno why its doing such. lol its a 512mb video card. only at tops 3 years old.

yeah i agree with you. i think CF is aware of this problem and is trying to fix it right now. please be patient.

i agree with glorified. killgod even you have a better PC the fps drops so bad..

i got a good graphic card and a high end PC still my fps drop's to 50-70
last patch i got 150-200

im not saying bring gameguard back or get rid of xtrap im saying fix the problem, they had a thread collecting data and they got over 500replys if they can't fix it by now i don't know wat kind of company they are. the end.

hmm question in here i have amd phenom x4 9650 2,3ghz
ati radeon hd4890 and 2gb of ram and my fps ingame is 90-130 and on fraps i have 70.so is that good or bad fps because i dont have any exp with fps.

the higher the fps the better so urs is ok

yeaah i have a good computer i used to have 50-80 fps... but since a while ago i have my fps like 44 when i play against one player... or 2 max... when i enter in a room with 8+ players my fps drop from 44 to 15-5... annoying as hell.
