moving trough servers lagg!??

first, srry for my crapy english
anyway, since the last update i have trouble moving trough servers.. it seems like a big lagg, clicking, moving cursor, everything has delay of like a second.. i havent seen this before, when i enter the game, everything works fine, so its not my fps or ping... i doubt its my pc cuz it all worked great before the updates.
this is so bloody annoying, can someone pls tell me why this might be happening?
i also tried turning off antivirus, restarting my pc, reinstalling the game then restarting... turnin all my programs off.. its all the same.. pls help, this is so annoying..

ram: 3gb
os: xp sp3

its around 3 yr old configuration, but i run games far more demanding than crossfire without any problems. and as i said, when i start playin (i mean when im in the room, start shooting) all is good than, no lagg. as soon as i go out, ****storm... i mesured its arround 2-3 sec delay when moving a mouse over buttons.. try to spin BM with that XD

this issue appeared at last patch.. never before i had trouble like this..

The game is a fun, not too much cheaters. But sometimes unknown reason get me out of servers. Following are several cases:

1. After my laptop hibernates and wake up, any room in crossfire is very slow -- I can feel I run much slower than normal. Changing weapon takes over 1 seconds -- similar case as when I was running p2p programs from another computer at home at the same time.

2. Sometimes game crash, with a message box and ask if I want to report this bug -- I never looked at what the message says because I know I would not understand. But I clicked report till last week.

3. Sometimes it is very slow to log into a server, especially when the game is to end. It takes normally like 1 mintues to see something like game result, but with only my self.

4. There are sometimes error message which pop up and I was still in game -- I think because some packet is lost and can not be recovered, it will suddenly become quiet and everyone just run straight.

I have the same problem too since the last patch. It's not really a problem, but it can get annoying over time. I fixed this by following this guide. Your Windows will look bad though.

[FIX] Start>Right Click My Computer>Advanced>Performance Settings> Adjust for best performance.

EDIT: I call this: Lobby lag.

hi stan, thanks for this it really works. it suck cuz my windows look like win98 XD
and changing this back and forth evrey time i want to plays is just stupid...
so how about fixing this bug guys? if u will fix this as u bann hakers, i will probably have thias dum lag until i reinstall win... XD
