I THINK... You should get CCleaner. Google it.. And check it out. You'll be able to see whats installed [And unstall maybe you missed something like anti -virus, etc].

Hmm Im running the pc ad admin(thats the only user i got in there)
and i dont think every pc require a anti-virus. -

Well they do.. TRY running CROSSFIRE as a admin... To do that look at your desktop >> Right click on crossfire icon>> Run as admin...
If it dosent work.
Try... 1. System Restore (Mostly/might) go back to a previous time.
2. Use the Disk that your computer/labtop came with {Window vista, XP, windows 7, Etc} and install the whole thing back.
Dude also make sure you go your producter website and download drivers and put on a flash drive ***If anything goes wrong***
For example: my computer is ACER
I got to Acer.com to download drivers.. -

Take a screenshot.. and use PAINT to save it.. and upload it with Tinypic.. Use the code for fourms. So I can see what's up........ I have a little knowladge with computers... On crossfire people bearly help..Mostly you have to help your self im trying to help you.. -

Ok something that completely solved my problem with this issue was deleting the X-Trap folder.
It doesn't affect the game at all because x trap will re download its components.
I used to have this problem:
X-trap pauses ay step 3 and HGW times out then loads crossfire 2 min later ''hack tool detected'' ''disconnected from server'' and '' Incorrect map info'' when i wasn't in a game.
Delete the X trap folder before every login or it wont work.
The other solution is downloading the client everytime you wanna play which wastes time.
I hope this helps someone.

Ohh well i dont think it help cause when i run game it just show up xtrap/hGw running then nothing happened and i try to dele the xtrap didnt work -
i know ur trying to help me xD. But i think the problem is i install the 1043.exe and the patch just skipped and running Xtrap/HGWC ,is there a patch i can manual patch it? or there is no patched needed.
And Basicly this is wat happen
1.Open Cross Fire
2.Click Start Game
3.Bottom Right running Xtrap
4.Middle of screen running HGW
5.Nothing Happen...
6.5Minute Later.
7.This pop out

im been doing this uninstall/reinstalled for 7times and i tried on my other pc it didnt work.

I dont think there is lol.. Dude.. Did you try to run crossfire as ADMINISTRATOR? Mine dosen't work like that either... On my desktop... I right click crossfire and go online... Thats the only way... -
