Failed to connect to server

hI everyone, I have problems starting CF, everytime I try, I get this "failed to connect to server" in the last step, when Im supposed to write my pass, this happens at 2 different places: home and another apartment, so I don't know if its due to internet or my computer or whatever, please can you help me???
