Game won't start -.-

My computer was running fine while playing Crossfire awhile ago. Now, all of a sudden, Crossfire won't start up. I am currently using McAfee protection and i don't think thats the problem. It may be, not sure. I had Norton a few months ago too and nothing happened to Crossfire during the switch.

After trying to start up Crossfire, it gives me a message saying, "Timed out waiting for initialing xtrap-engine"
When trying to start up Crossfire, on the menu thing, after clicking "start game", it freezes my computer for a bit then the auto patcher sits on the screen for about 30 secs. After that, HGW game watcher pops up and xtrap on the bottom corner. Xtrap loads something and goes away while HGW is still there for about a minute more and goes away. Then like 5 mins later that message appears.

I tried everything i could think of to get my computer working and also waiting a few days. =.=

it is mcaffe. i had this problem with it 2.
heres how you solve it
you have to go to restore, files, and restore the xtrap things.

then you go to computers and files. Turn everything off. then play

dont forget to turn it back on after your done gaming

Did all those things already.. I didnt have to do anything when i had mcafee before it started messing up.
