  • Stats? Looks like another PSG...
Well, technically it is. Though the MSG-90 should be better. 26353290t.gif

    Another useless sniper rifle, sweet.
There is no such thing as a useless sniper rifle. Only useless players that can't use it the way they should. 26353290t.gif

Sweet, Looks cool but somewhat close to the PSG-1. If it shoots fast enough this will be easy ownage in sniper matches. PSG-1 red dragon owners know what i'm talking about :D
It would probably shoot faster and become lighter than the PSG-1, at the cost of power and/or recoil. 26353290t.gif

  • I doubt it, because the AN-94 finds no love amongst the CM/GMs. Its so overpowering, it makes the Scar light look like a light weight. So if it comes (and thats a really big IF), expect it to be heavily nerved. 26353290t.gif

And they don't give a flying f*ck what you think, and neither do I, a matter of fact. Especially because of your rude displays like this one above. And actually, I've fired more rifles in my life that most people here, because of my husband being ex marine who still occasional does some work for them. So we have lots of friends among some higher racking officers, which allows us to have certain perks that are denied to most civilians. One of those perks is access to their shooting ranch and firing weapons most civilians don't even know about. This includes the Scar Light and the AN-94.

Anyway, this holds no relation to how weapons are in a FPS game, like crossfire, for they are never portrayed the same as in real life, but balanced out to fit a fair gaming environment. However, this isn't always done with success. The Scar light for example, has been made border-line OP, because its easy to use, but has very little to counter that ease, for it has kept a relatively high power/damage output and low recoil. With the AN-94 in Asian versions, this has been done even worse. The AN-94 has become a rifle with the power close to that of an AK-47, but with the recoil of an M4A1. Meaning it has more power than the Scar light, and less recoil. And because Z8games is allowed to only make minor alterations to weapons they copy from the original Korean version, they fear that the AN-94 would quickly ruin the game experience in the US version. And this is why they choose not to add this weapon before the Korean version has properly balanced their version of the AN-94.

This has already been established several times. The MSG-90 is a cost effective variant of the PSG-1. Which means that they are very similar in design, but contain certain differences. 26353290t.gif
