High Cpu usage when running crossfire

Alright well.. When ever i run crossfire my cpu usage goes up to about 70% and with ventrilo and music going its about 90% and its lagging and the sound bugs in and out.. Anyone know if this is normal or is there something to fix it?

Computer Specs

OS:Windows vista 32bit

Prossecer:Intel (R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80 GHz.

Ram: 2gb

Video card:Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT

If you know anything that lowers it please let me know.

your OS is ur main problem

but you tend to need a new processor because your current one is dying i do to i get 2 much CPU usage just runnin the internet on google homepage >.< im buying a new comp probebly the acer aspire g7700 predator woo so sexy

Seeing how i can play mw2 lfd2 ca css and any other fps game i play perfectly.. i don't see how it would be my drivers or my os.

It is your OS Vista is really heavy i prefer XP and 7 they are both great but XP is the best ATM Considering 7 has some issues with crossfire.
