How to switch to desktop?

Is it possible to switch out of the game to the desktop while playing? Because when I try it with different techniques it doesn't work. Please help me

Alt+Tab and that may work.

The easiest way is to have at least one task running on your taskbar before you start the game, like Firefox. After that you should be able to use the Windows logo key while running the game to show your taskbar and allow you to switch to other tasks. The only problem is that you will be stuck with the resolution that the game is running at.

well what i do is ctrl+alt+delete and then alt+tab then click the windows button to bring up the start menu then just open my computer, click up and then ur on the desktop.

Keeping one thing running in the taskbar should allow you to alt-tab out of the game. It also switches back to my normal resolution if I do that. Just open a Word document or so.
Alt tab doesn't work if nothing else is in your taskbar.
