Extremely high pings

Hi I just now started up playing Crossfire again after i heard about Mutation Mode being released. My problem is i have ridiculously high pings, up to 2,000! I played this game since July of last year to up about November everything played fine and my normal ping was 34. Now in March I come back start it up get into the game and expierence the worst lag of my life! The only things that have changed - Crossfire is now on z8games instead of suba games, i've gotten a new router/modem. Everything else is the same, same computer same internet service, same hardware.

I'm starting to realize it might be my new NETGEAR http://www.advantage.co.nz/images/3754.jpg and that might be my source of conflict ( any and every bit of help here would be so greatly appreciated) But I'm also not ruling out the possibility of it being from the hosting switch from suba to z8. Help anyone? i really would like to play again.

EDIT: the more and more i think about it, the problem really is my modem/router so if any Official Crossfire/Z8Games staff can give a list of ports the game requires open that'd be a huge help
