Report in ZM?!

Sup.

Just ran into a Botter (afk scripting) Been wondering if there is a way to report these ppl via bunch of screenshots,
and if Afk botting is even a bannable offense (3rd party software etc)

Let me know if anybody has any idea if it would even be worth it to send in a ticket..

As if u have no option to save replay u could give it a try with multiple screenshots,
i had same problem sometime ago when i found hak,ers in wave mode .

Report hackers with ss I don't think is possible...i guess they need a replay, and in ZM we can't save..so rip

ye, thats what i was thinking. maybe 2morrow some mod/gm could confirm. i took 2-3 screenshots after every wave of 2 to "proove" he was still spinning

You can't prove anything with screen shots, don't bother.

I've been contemplating this too. As there's a certain group of people on NA who farm ZM Death Rally and ZM3's (since they can't lose in those as long as SOMEONE stays alive). They always name the room something like Play 5 games get 3 crates! to draw people to their rooms too. Have a handful of screenshots of the room names with those people always being host but almost positive it won't go anywhere. Would be lovely if someone like Kanadian who reads the forums could investigate. (can send you some screenshots of names and room names to look for!)

I mean I wouldn't mind too bad if they did something once in awhile, there's no event going on like ZP Storm style or similar, or if it didn't effect the ZM3 match...but with ZM3 you kinda need a team so joining one of their rooms and you're instantly down a person and makes the match take a lot longer. And the whole baiting people into their rooms with the false advertising just so they can idle bot farm is kinda crappy IMO too. Pretty sure they do this 24/7 just about too. The one time I played a ZM3 in one of these rooms it took sooooo long as the rest of the team was complete nabs who were trying to trade guns with the idle guy. I ended up doing like 200k damage to Atlas in Fatal Canyon and the next most was like 30k if that. It was sad.

I see alot of VIP players doing the idle spinning dance thing so doubt it is bannable. Maybe a temp ban as a warning. I also see it in MM during events.. can't save MM games either?

no you can save replays in Mutations. Just sometimes mutation replay files get a little big. And most people who play mutation games are either in there for events, are complete nabs, or it's about all they play and they just don't care. I'm willing to be the vast majority of Mutation players that AREN'T hackers...probably don't even know you CAN report someone, and the few that do... would try to report a legit player over a hacker or afk bot user. And then there's the problem...you have to be able to clearly establish they're using a script to idle and not disconnect and aren't sitting there occasionally tapping the mouse. Though farming event times and all that can, in some cases, get people into trouble....it's usually only when there's no cap on rewards or it's more of a competitive event style.

So many Rooms with Host Auto Join,BOT, became level 50 on zm3, farming Like a Baws Ribbon, Idles , No fair.
