CF North America ~ [MOD]Moe Exclusive Interview!

Hey guys,

South PAX in Texas is finished and what's a better way to know how it was than to ask someone who went to the event! Here is a short interview with [MOD]Moe!

Q: Hey Moe! Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Moe. I'm from Egypt, but I'm located in Texas, USA. Studying mechanical engineering and energy, and currently managing a restaurant.

Q: How did you get chosen to become a MOD for CrossFire?

I was active and very helpful on the forums and I kept a clean record. The staff saw some potential in me becoming a MOD, and they offered me a spot.

Q: What does the MOD status mean for you?

Its an amazing experience and a great opportunity being a mod. Not only do I enforce the forum rules, I also get to help players and direct them when possible. I also get direct contact with the GMs and so its much easier to voice concerns or report issues, if we come across any. It really is amazing being a mod. I also get to know stuff before public, so I'm kinda cool :3

Q: Can you give tips to people who want to become MOD?

Read the rules before posting, and follow them. We can see whatever you post, even if its edited or deleted, so whatever you post on there is staying forever. Respect others and don't troll (joking =|= trolling). Of course that doesn't guarantee you a mod spot, but it means we'll take you into consideration whenever we're looking for new forum staff.

Q: Many of us saw that you went to PAX South to visit CrossFire. Can you tell us about your experience there?

it was HELLA COOL BRUH! First I should mention that it was my first ever gaming convention. I got to meet the GMs in person - super chill peeps, felt like I already personally knew them although it was our first face to face meeting. I know a lot of y'all were wondering this, but yes, Kanadian is a robot. Violet and Cinder are human beings, but they're also pretty and fun. Wish I could've hung out with them more, but more to come of course!

I helped organize (and participated in) the CF PAX tourney. Met so many new friends, and met famous streamers. It was totally worth it. Introducing peeps to CF for the first time was great. I also never realized how much I knew about CF till I went to PAX.

Q: Did you win any cool prizes at PAX South?

Yes! CF bags, CF shirts, CF hats, and in-game item cards (not saying what they were :p ) But I also made new friendships and it was an amazing experience so these are also prizes.

Q: What changes would you like to see in CrossFire?

Events - I would like more events with more real life prizes (like mothers day poster/card that I won or pax-like events).

Activity - I study and work full time. So my gaming/forum time is mostly at night where the game isn't as populated as in day-time. Not a huge deal for me, but would love to see the servers and forums busy at night as well.

These are more personal preferences than changes.

Q: Do you have any special message to the CrossFire players?

Play to win! And aaaaah MoeDeta or nothing!

And here are some pictures from PAX South!
