How does the headshot tracker work?

So how does the tracker actually work? Has it only tracked for the last 2 days or so or why am I still missing headshots? I am fairly certain I have way more than 3k headshots already but the tracker seems to say so.

Is it possible that I have been flagged for farming because I have reached high kda's (5+) ingame?

I'm sorry if this has been answered somewhere but I didn't seem to find an answer.

Many people's headshot count has been decreased due to the farming that had been taking place. If you feel that your headshot count has been decreased by mistake, please send a support ticket.

Yeah I was expecting something along the lines of this. I got some really good games in with high kda's. I'll send in a support ticket, thanks!

How high?
How many did u make then 3k in 2 days?

Best kda's were in the 5-10 range, got some 100ish kill games.
About the kills I am not sure where it should be exactly but it must be more than 2.8k haha.

Edit: Support told me to refer back to the original event announcement and closed the ticket... Was that an automated reply?
