  • It's common sense, it's like robbing a store because there wasn't a sign that said "No Stealing!"

Farming gives players an unfair advantage and is morally wrong.
  • Dude.. Farming headshots is unfair take the godamn weapon and aim with ur mouse for a change.

No, he said farming is against the rules. HE CLEARLY said that farming is prohibited in Cross Fire. Has everyone been a sleep or...What the hell is going on LOL!

Yeah...? So what's the point in this thread?

It's pretty obvious that farming wouldn't be allowed, if you were to farm and didn't think twice about it you have to be pretty naive.
  • LOL on this Grumpy guy

Llike seriously is this how he treats 7 years old veterans?Just close their threads with only 2 senseless words & make up rules & and threaten them with bans for imagined rules? o_O

Please point me towards ANY multiplayer game where farming is allowed. Everyone hating on farmers getting punished are desperately searching for loopholes.
  • Idk what hes on but this will probably be closed very soon too. He even closed the main event thread lmao. That moment when they take more action against farmers with made up rules than they do against cheaters.

Imagine if they took the time they spend on finding farmers and spend it on going through the top 100 in ranked season 2....

I don't blame him to be honest, this is pointless fighting about and making constant threads about it is a waste of time. Farming is obviously prohibited (but apparently that wasn't obvious to some people), so they've explicitly stated that farming isn't allowed. I honestly don't see why everybody is getting so irate about it.

The thing is, farming is not prohibited. The only exceptions are when its specifically stated in the event page (for example the summer games event) and events where there is a top 100 winner list or something. Other than that, farming is completely fine, half the people are also farmin that christmas event and thats all fine.

Years ago on a live stream the gm's said farming was allowed. They said " If thats the way you want to play the game then so be it " + what if farmers are just farming for xp / rep also.. ? Who said every one that is farming is farming for head shots for the event ?
  • Ye he seems very dedicated to this event hopefully they can put some dedication into hackers

But it gave players who farmed a gigantic advantage in this event where it came to the amount of EP received. They would accumulate hundreds of thousands - millions of EP individually. That would equal to thousands of crates from the Shop: essentially for free!

This being a business, this would decrease the "importance" of ZP by a large number, and players who didn't farm/had the weapons already would receive a huge middle finger.

I still feel like it was too obvious, so much so that it wasn't necessary to even post it on the Event page.

Although I don't agree with farming, farming for personal gain (such as increasing your rank etc) I can see why they've allowed it. However farming for this headshot event, would be farming for personal gain and then some. Their personal gain (in regard to EP) could and would destroy a large portion of the ZP/Crate market.

Thats true. But thats all Z8's fault for making a flawed event. Everyone saw this comming, and everyone posted their concerns the second they announched this event. Yet nothing happened.
It worries me that the people who are supossed to make important and big decisions for this game did not see this comming and did not see how flawed it was. All it would have taken to prevent all this was adding one simple rule.

Granted they should've assessed and reassured people's concerns sooner (and hopefully that's something they'll hope to improve for future events).

However I still saw it as a better be safe than sorry event.
  • To answer the question, let me copy the following from the Terms and Conditions:

    "Gameplay Conduct

Z8Games, in its sole discretion, will determine the course of action in any case involving the act of “griefing” (causing other players problems performing standard functions of the game), Kill Stealing (when players or groups of players are involved in engaging mobs for the purposes of disrupting regular gameplay), or any other action that Z8Games determines, after review, is necessary to enforce."

Lets review that last part again real quick.

"or any other action that Z8Games determines, after review, is necessary to enforce."

  • Im sorry, none of that made sense to me. Try again?

He's basically saying that he feels that this game will be dead/"look offline" come the New Year. :)
  • All these farmers fighting for their rights by reading ToS hahahahaha. Do y'all need a lawyer?

Not the sharpest knife in the draw are you?

It was meant to be a sassy remark implying contrary to warhawks beliefs the game will be running next year therefore not making sense. Sigh...

I don't understand you, he was quoting Kanadian, therefore replying to him?...
  • So.. Farming isnt allowed anymore? o0 i mean normal exp farming NOT for the Event,
I remember when Saidin said that farming is a part of the game and Farming is NOT bannable in CFNA. (if you do it with friends).

Saidin has not been a GM for quite some time. Since I don't see that changing any time in the near future, and the above questions have been answered, I am going to close this topic now.
